Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)
All Church of England and Methodist schools are inspected approximately every five years by a SIAMS inspector from the Church of England.
A SIAMS inspection is an opportunity to highlight the impact that the school’s Christian vision has on the flourishing of the whole school community.
I am beyond thrilled to share that The Archbishop’s School received the highest SIAMS Inspection judgement following our last inspection in January 2025.
Highlights from the report for me were:
- “Through the vision, this highly diverse and inclusive school, offers a space for everyone to flourish, where all are known, valued, and supported”.
- “School values of compassion, wisdom, hope, perseverance and forgiveness are truly lived out in the calm and considerate atmosphere”.
- “The strong, creative curriculum at The Archbishop’s School is aspirational. This is a result of the vision and values that put students at the centre of their learning. The school's commitment to going above and beyond is evident in the student’s learning experience”
We are immensely proud of what we have all achieved and look forward to continuing to provide an exceptional learning environment for our students.
Mr D. Elliott, Headteacher
